Ken Bryant

Ken and his partner Kendal own and operate a 250 cow dairy farm at Bexhill just north of Lismore. Ken is the 3rd generation of his family to supply milk continuously to NORCO Co-operative and Ken and Kendal have a son who is returning to the farm and will be the 4th generation.

Ken is passionate about Norco as a 100% farmer owned co-operative. He possesses the essential management skills to work as part of the Norco team and believes he can contribute positively to the Board functions of oversight and governance. These skills have been developed through completion of an Associate Diploma in Farm Management at Orange Agricultural College, with Ken receiving the College medal for academic excellence.

Ken has a long-term commitment to dairy industry advocacy having twice served 3 year terms chairing the Far North Coast Dairy Industry Group and continuing to be actively involved. He also recently gave evidence before the Senate Inquiry into the Dairy Industry.

Ken is cognisant that Norco has a unique level of support from the community which must not be taken for granted. A key focus for Ken will be that a competitive milk price is maintained for the Co-operative to remain strong and he will analyse decisions on the information available and act in the best interests of all shareholders.

Ken’s election to the Board of Directors as a non-executive Central Region Director took effect 13 January 2021.
