Australia’s farmers are the backbone of our nation—and their wellbeing matters. That’s why Norco, in partnership with the National Farmers’ Federation, is proud to support the next chapter of the National Farmer Wellbeing Report.
This vital research shines a light on the health, resilience, and lived experiences of the people who power Australian agriculture. Together, we can help shape a stronger, more sustainable future for farming communities across the country.
Have Your Say
Help shape the future of Australian farming. The National Farmer Wellbeing Survey is now open to all farmers and agricultural workers across Australia.
A Call to All in Agriculture
Whether you're on the land, in the shed, or behind the scenes—if you work in Australian farming or agriculture, your voice matters. No matter your region, role, industry or business size, this is your chance to be heard.
Every response helps build a clearer picture of farmer wellbeing today. The more people who take part, the stronger the collective voice.
What the Survey Covers
We’re taking the pulse of Australian farming—gathering insights on:
- Physical and mental health
- Sources of stress and pressure
- Industry confidence and resilience
- Impacts of natural disasters
- Hopes and concerns for the future of farming
The findings will guide where support is most needed and help shape policies and programs that truly make a difference.
Why It Matters
Healthy, resilient farmers are essential to Australia’s food security and the future of our agricultural sector. This research is about more than data—it’s about real people, real challenges, and real change.
Building on the First Report
Nearly three years after the inaugural National Farmer Wellbeing Report, Norco—Australia’s oldest 100% farmer-owned dairy co-operative—and the National Farmers’ Federation — the peak national body for Australia’s farm sector - are partnering once again to deliver the next chapter in this landmark national research.
This second instalment will revisit key findings from the first report, tracking what’s changed, what hasn’t, and what farmers need now to thrive.
Results will be released in late March to mark the third anniversary of the original report.
