Hi-Pro Cattle Pellet
Hi-Pro Feedlot formulation is a quality grain based complete feed for fattening beef cattle including steers and heifers over 200 kg liveweight and cull cows and bulls. Hi-Pro Feedlot is available in meal or pellets, as a bulk or bagged product. Hi-Pro Feedlot also provides all the macro, trace minerals and vitamins required by beef cattle.

Medication
Hi-Pro Feedlot Meal or Pellets contain 22 mg/kg Monensin sodium to help improve feed conversion efficiency and assist in preventing feedlot bloat and coccidiosis.

- If transitioning from Starter Meal continue at current feeding rates otherwise see directions below.
- Ensure cattle are full of roughage preferably medium quality hay 1-2 days before any grain feeding.
- Introduce gradually for a period of 7 to 14 days before transitioning to a higher level of grain intake.
- If hand feeding, feed from 0.5% to 1% liveweight per head per day in the first 7-14 days then continue to build up to full feeding. If feeding over 3kg per head per day split into 2 to 3 feeds.
- Commercial feeding in self feeders after introductory period, allow free access to feeders provided shutters only allow 50% of the tray to fill.
- Ensure feed is available at all times.
- Ensure clean, cool, adequate water is available at all times.
