Diazinon Update
The (APVMA) has confirmed that all Diazinon based product registrations and label approvals will be cancelled from 10th September 2025 onwards.
Diazinon, like many long-standing active ingredients, has undergone ongoing regulatory review, with the APVMA responsible for governing product registrations across farming, veterinary, and pet applications.
What this means for our customers:
- Until 10th September 2025: It remains legal for retailers, including Norco, to supply Diazinon-based products, and for farmers to purchase, possess, and use them.
- From 10th September 2025 onwards: It will become illegal for retailers to supply, and for farmers to possess or use, any Diazinon-based products.
