Cow - Feedlot Starter Meal v2
Feedlot Starter Meal is a quality grain and fibre based complete stock feed designed for starting cattle that has not been consuming grain just prior to entering feedlot. It can be supplied to steers and heifers over 240 kg live weight and cull cows and bulls. Feedlot Starter also provides all the macro, trace minerals and vitamins required by beef cattle.

Medication
Feedlot Starter Meal contain 28 mg/kg Monensin sodium to help improve feed conversion efficiency and assist in preventing feedlot bloat and coccidiosis.

- Cattle not accustomed to grain feeding should be introduced to this stock food gradually or it may cause rumen acidosis and possible death.
- Preferably feed medium quality hay to fill rumen up for first 1-2 days prior to feeding this feed.
- Supply Starter meal free access after hay for 10-14 days before moving to Feedlot Finisher Meal.
- When feeding in self-feeders, allow free access by setting shutters to only allow 50% of the bottom tray to be filled.
- Ensure feed is available at all times.
- Ensure clean, cool, adequate water is available at all times.
