Mill Transport Driver / Mill Employee Full Time
Lismore, NSW

The position of Transport Worker/Mill Employee at Norco Stockfeeds, Lismore could be for you.
To be considered for this role you need to demonstrate the following selection criteria in an application:

  • Current HR truck and Forklift licence required. HC licence not essential but desirable.
  • Proven operating and Maintenance skills including repairs and planned maintenance.
  • Demonstrated technical skills in agricultural machinery.
  • Proven ability to be a team player within a small team environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to learning new operation and plant improvement.
  • Computer literacy skills including Microsoft office and POS a bonus.
  • Demonstrated excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Punctual and reliable for early morning, day or afternoon shifts.
  • Model safe work practices & compliance to Norco policies & procedures.

Distribution Operators - Casual
Raleigh NSW

We are seeking energetic and flexible Operators to work in production and coldroom at our busy Milk factory in Raleigh. We are seeking people with previous experience in operating machinery or working in refrigerated warehouses.

Employment will be on a rotating shift and it will involve night shift work as well as some weekends and Public Holidays. On the job training will be provided, with opportunities to multi skill and progress to higher grades.

Essential selection criteria include:

  • Ability to be flexible in working a shift work roster including at short notice;
  • Previous experience in operation of machinery or working in refrigerated warehousing

Norco is now one of the largest dairy co-operatives on the East Coast of Australia and has a proud history of serving rural communities. The company is a manufacturer of high quality stockfeeds and owns and operates 28 rural stores in Queensland and NSW, carrying more than 12,000 different agricultural products.

It is within our busy Rural Retail business based in Bellingen that an opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly organised full-time Rural Merchandise Salesperson.

The purpose of this role is to provide agricultural advisory and sale service to farm clients and to build business partnerships with our major customer base through the provision of sound technical advice. To be successful, you will possess strong interpersonal skills, be enthusiastic and self-motivated with a sales focus.

Essential skills for the position are:
• Knowledge of a broad area of agricultural inputs.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to manage a diverse range of personalities.
• Ability to build relationships using highly developed listening, interpersonal and communications skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills, including sound understanding of P&L, balance sheets, cash flows and budgets.
• Ability to think proactively in developing business strategies with a flexible can do attitude.
• Sound knowledge and experience in a retail business, including merchandising, stock, logistics and marketing
• Forklift and Drivers licence.

A rural background or experience in an agricultural field would be an advantage.
