Territory Manager

Norco Foods is a 100% Australian Farmer owned Cooperative with a strong range of Australia’s leading dairy brands, Norco has a sizeable share of the Australian market along with a substantially growing Beverage Brand product portfolio, food service range, and a unique cheese business sold Nationally.

We are looking for an energetic person to fill the full time role of a Territory Manager for our Fresh Beverage division role based in and around the Sydney area.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the successful applicant will become a key member of the sales team. This role involves implementing and achieving the company sales, business priority plan and objectives while developing a professional business relationship with the management of each store in a designated territory. This role requires a high level of communication skills with both internal and external customers and the ability to negotiate for rewarding outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs

Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.

  • Reach out to customer needs through cold calling
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within agreed time frame
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, competitive activities and potential for new products and services
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Continuously improve through feedback.

Selection Criteria:

  • Proven work experience as a sales representative within FMCG Route channel
  • Sound computer skills in a networked application including SAP would be an advantage
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiating skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organization skills
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Barista or coffee bean knowledge would be an advantage.

  • Knowledge of a broad area of agricultural inputs.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to manage a diverse range of personalities.
  • Ability to build relationships using highly developed listening, interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills, including sound understanding of P&L, balance sheets, cash flows and budgets.
  • Ability to think proactively in developing business strategies with a flexible can do attitude.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in a retail business, including merchandising, stock, logistics and marketing
  • Forklift and Drivers licence.

A rural background or experience in an agricultural field would be an advantage

Blowmould Operator - 12 Hour Roster

Raleigh NSW

We are seeking an energetic and flexible Blowmould Operator who has experience in operating plastic blowmoulding machines, bottle bagging, debagging machines, labellers, and coders for our busy Milk factory in Raleigh.

The purpose of this position is to operate all machines in the blowmould room. Employment will be on a 12 hour rotating shift and it will include weekend and night shift work.

Essential selection criteria include:

  • Ideally demonstrated skills in the operation of blowmould machinery. 
  • Natural ability to work in a small and busy team manufacturing environment
  • Thorough time management skills with the ability to meet set deadlines.
  • Demonstrated mathematical aptitude with high level attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude as well as advanced problem solving skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Sound knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Demonstrated effective/natural communication skills.
  • Forklift license considered but not essential

Norco is now one of the largest dairy co-operatives on the East Coast of Australia and has a proud history of serving rural communities. The company is a manufacturer of high quality stockfeed and owns and operates around 28 rural stores in Queensland and NSW, carrying more than 12,000 different agricultural products.

It is within our busy Rural Retail business based in Bundaberg that an opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly organised full-time Rural Merchandise Salesperson.

The purpose of this role is to provide agricultural advisory and sale service to farm clients and to build business partnerships with our major customer base through the provision of sound technical advice.  To be successful, you will possess strong interpersonal skills, be enthusiastic and self-motivated with a sales focus.
