It is within our busy corporate team in Lismore, that an opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly organised Part-time Accounts Payable Officer for a six month fixed term role. You will assist with enquiries and the day to day functioning of the accounts team, processing of accounts payable documents and ensure that all suppliers are paid in a timely and efficient manner.


To be successful, you will possess strong interpersonal skills, have an enthusiastic self-motivated service focused approach, good attention to detail and a commitment to business performance.

Maintenance Shift Electrician

We are currently looking for a highly skilled, energetic and flexible Maintenance Electrician for our busy milk manufacturing operation in Lismore, employing in excess of 250 staff including a team of 15 trade staff dedicated to maintenance activities.

This role is a full time permanent salaried position that requires the ability to work a flexible roster and after hours call outs as required.

The purpose of this position is the provision of preventative and corrective electrical maintenance as part of the factory’s maintenance team. Ideally the successful applicant will possess the following essential & desirable selection criteria.

Essential selection criteria include:

  • Demonstrated skills in industrial electrical installations and maintenance.
  • Experience in manufacturing / production environments
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi faceted team environment
  • Current NSW A Grade Electrical Licence
  • Demonstrated effective/natural communication skills.
  • Availability for shift work (including night, rostered weekends) and overtime
  • Current drivers licence
  • Experience with Omron and Allen Bradley PLC and Citect SCADA based automation systems.
  • Demonstrable skills and experience in relation to safety including risk management

Desirable selection criteria

  • Knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems.
  • Understanding of food manufacturing processes and hygiene requirements.
  • Dairy manufacturing experience

Norco Co-op Ltd are producers of a host of Australia’s most popular and well-known brands & products in the consumer Ice Cream, Cheese & Milk sectors, we are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Engine Driver who will be committed to the operation, monitoring and logging of coal and oil fired boilers to supply steam for the processing of milk based in Labrador.

You will possess ammonia refrigeration plant experience within factory cold rooms including air conditioning and product cooling. You will also have experience with compressed air systems and chilled water systems.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will follow the Site Operational & safety procedures to ensure our customer orders are 100% in spec, in full, on time.   

To be considered you need to demonstrate the following selection criteria in a written application:

  • Current steam boiler ticket coupled with a minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Experience in ammonia refrigeration.
  • Written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Model safe work practices & compliance to Norco policies & procedures.

Hours of Work:

Roster: 24/7 rotating shifts; 4 on 4 off.

We are seeking an energetic and flexible Casual Operators who have experience in operating machinery for our busy Milk factory in Raleigh, employing in excess of 100 employees.

Employment will be on a rotating shift and it will involve night shift work and weekends. On the job training will be provided, with opportunities to multi skill and progress to higher grades.  

Essential selection criteria include:

  • High level of attention to Work Health and Safety.
  • Demonstrated skills in the operation of bottle fillers or other high speed packing / processing equipment
  • Previous experience working in a large scale food manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
  • A mechanical aptitude will be highly regarded. Along with Industry certifications (pasteuriser operator, milk and cream grading, forklift license etc.)
  • Natural ability to work in a small and busy team manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability working in and leading small teams.
  • Familiarity with good food manufacturing and hygiene practices.
  • Thorough time management skills with the ability to meet set deadlines.
  • Demonstrated mathematical aptitude with high level attention to detail.
  • Ability to be on call with short notice.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated effective/natural written and verbal communication skills.
  • Efficient computer competencies in Word, Excel & SAP
