Norco is now one of the largest dairy co-operatives on the East Coast of Australia and has a proud history of serving rural communities. Norco Rural/Agri is a manufacturer of high quality stockfeed and owns and operates around 28 rural stores in Queensland and NSW, carrying more than 12,000 different agricultural products

You will have a customer focused approach to assist in providing agricultural advisory and sale service to clients and our major customer base. 

The two casual roles are based in our Toowoomba Rural Store for the right enthusiastic and self-motivated applicants.

To make an application we need to understand how you can demonstrate the following selection criteria:

  • Previous rural sales customer service an advantage.
  • Understanding of merchandising & marketing in a rural environment.
  • Technical skills in Agricultural Science, Animal Health or Agronomy is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the rural industry along the east coast.
  • Proven ability to be a motivated team player within a small busy team environment.
  • Demonstrated excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy skills including Microsoft office, POS and administration skills.
  • Experience working in a rural retail and warehousing environment desirable.
  • Truck drivers and forklift licence essential.

To be successful in this role based in Toowoomba, you will need to possess strong interpersonal skills, be enthusiastic and self-motivated with a sales focus.

  • Proven rural sales, merchandising & marketing skills to continue strengthening an exciting customer base.
  • Technical skills in Agricultural Science, Animal Health or Agronomy is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the rural industry along the east coast.
  • Proven ability to be a motivated team player within a small team environment.

Casual Production Employees x 8

We are seeking 8 energetic and flexible Production Employees who are motivated and committed to a career in food manufacturing for our busy Ice Cream Factory in Lismore, employing in excess of 200 employees.

Employment will be on a casual basis including day, afternoon, night and weekend shift work. On the job training will be provided, with opportunities for career progression and the possibility of permanent part time and full time roles for the right candidate in the future.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Desirable (but not essential) selection criteria include:

  • Previous process line experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Certificate in Food Manufacturing.
  • Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle.
  • Forklift licence.
