Training is highly regarded within Norco. It serves several purposes not least of which is that it ensures that the company remains abreast of industry developments. This is achieved by ensuring the employees are exposed to training in aspects of the industry, their career and personal development. The Human Resources Department co-ordinates all training programs.
Norco has developed a mentoring program to promote professional relationships between experienced executives and selected managers seeking development. This program aims to genuinely impart professional and personal skills based on a willingness to learn and share through encouragement, constructive comments, openness, mutual trust and respect.
Norco's Employee Assistance Program is a fully supported initiative which provides assistance with resolving work and/or personal problems. Available to employees and their immediate family members, the program offers access to qualified professionals in a highly confidential setting at the offices of the designated service provider. Norco has over 80 employees in their 20 Years Plus Club. The Executive Team together with the 20 Years Plus Club members gather each year to honor achievement, loyalty and commitment and also to celebrate and welcome new members to the club.
