Leigh Shearman

Leigh was recently declared elected to the Norco Board of Directors on 14 November 2012 and is from the Central Region.
Leigh and her partner own and operate a dairy farm at Goolmangar, just outside of Lismore in the Northern Rivers of NSW where they milk 180 cows.
Leigh has experience in running her own successful businesses having owned and operated both beef and dairy farms for over 25 years. She has also owned and operated a retail franchise and worked in the banking industry for 10 years. Leigh’s qualifications are as follows:
- Diploma of Rural Business Management;
- Diploma of Agriculture;
- Certificate III Financial Services;
- Chairperson of DIG FNC Dairy Industry Group Inc; and
- Chairperson of Goolmangar Water Users Association.
Leigh is looking forward to using her skills and experience to great effect in the Norco Board room as she recognises the important role that Norco has in ensuring a sustainable dairy industry into the future.
